Week 1--Blindfolds

We came up with a fun and playful way to randomly pick our weekly challenge.  Fifty-two weeks in a year.  Fifty-two challenges.  Fifty-two cards in a deck.  Coincidence?  I got out an old deck of cards, counted them, shuffled them and put them on our dresser in the bedroom.  Every week we'll draw a new card.  This week: 7 of clubs--blindfolds.

Wifey was a little nervous drawing the first card.  "I hope we don't have to start with anything really hard," she says.  But, boy, was she excited about blindfolds.  She's a very sensitive person, so the sensations that come with sex and physical intimacy are exaggerated for her.  Taking away sight, even for a short time, heightens your other senses even further and produces a sense of anticipation that really gets her going.  Me?  I'm not as excited about this one.  I think it can be fun, but I really like to look at her naked body.  Not having one, we jumped on line and ordered one up as part of a light bondage kit and some other toys and aids.   

As life would have it, we completely lost the sexual momentum that we gained over the holidays, and we got pushed back to the last possible minute: 10pm Saturday night. We went upstairs and I put on our new blindfold, which was a piece of crap.  So we got a scarf out and I tied it around her eyes, pushed her down on the bed, took off her clothes and told her to wait there.  After doing some reading earlier, I decided to go with alternating hot/cold beverages during cunnilingus.  She really enjoyed it and was constantly wondering what I was touching her with.  After she came a couple of times, she gave me a little oral and we proceeded with penetrative sex with her blindfold still on.  We started with doggystyle and proceded to, as we typically do, flow into multiple positions, one after the other.  After she had a couple more orgasms, I finished. 

Afterward, we talked about the experience.  First, we agree that it's a tough challenge to start with because its usually combined with other stuff.  With 51 other challenges, it was tough to figure out what to do without using something that's the focus of an upcoming challenge.  The oral part was really good for her, but I think what it did was make me focus on giving her oral and prolonging and intensifying the experience for her instead of rushing through it to get to sex.  I used more fingers along with my tongue and the added dimension of temperature was exciting.  Also not having her vision was exciting for her because 1) it created anticipation and 2) she was completely disoriented to where we were on the bed.

So, all in all, it was a good experience.  We felt a lot of pressure to get it done in time, especially the first one.  God help us if we fail the first challenge.  But we did and it was a success.  It was definately something that we'd be willing to try again.
